Never knew a love so true,
Never witnessed a sky so blue,

Those hard times I couldn't get through,
I managed, because of you...

A pencil with no lead,
A sweater with no thread,
Parallel to a life with no love,
Seems I'm better off dead...

Heart overloaded with sorrow,
Soul surpassed with regret,
With you, I pray for tomorrow,
Without you, I fear for what's next...

Alone with my conscience,
I'm mentally unfit,
To conquer the consciousness needed to commit,
So i wrestle with my thoughts and tussle with my actions,
Repent for my sins but still i reenact them...

One day, I'll endure the pain i dish,
Receive no happiness nor the love I miss,
Left with your scent and the thought of your kiss,
Least I can say is because of you I have this...

Because of you, I was once a happy dude,
Because of you, I'm who i am,
Because of you, I choose to let go,
Because of you, I want you to be happy,
Because of you, this is my choice...
